Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. She was raised listening to the old and classical boleros as well traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana is a lover of Tangos, opera and any form of dramatic performance. Her mother taught her to sing, and she began singing by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera tenor. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and then at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed on stage in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities, both as a student and professional. She was part of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. The singer currently sings classical Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. As a teacher and musician she has a passion for many projects in the community because of her passion as well as a love of music. Ana has been a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as along with members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to have the opportunity communicate with other people her enthusiasm for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will inspire younger generations of musicians to keep the music in the present.
