Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") Rosalia Vila (Spanish for "Rosalia") is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was a teenager, she's embraced the edges of popular and traditional music. Additionally, she explores genres including hip-hop, soul and trap. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as sweet and sharp, however she still featuring the sharpness of older singers. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her third studio album. She collaborated with many musicians and producers like Cory Henry. The set began to be released in conjunction with Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish artist to perform solo in the program. Along with taking home three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
